DELIVERY:

UK Free Delivery : Spend over £60 for Free Standard Delivery within Mainland UK. (Applies to non-furniture parcels). 

UK Standard Delivery: £5.95
This will be DPD/EVRI/FEDEX or Royal Mail Tracked 1-2 working day service. You will receive email notifications/tracking with the allocated day of delivery.

Small Furniture items: £35 This is a Courier 2-7 working day service

Large Furniture items: Quote upon purchase.

We offer local delivery within a 10-mile radius for a flat rate of £35.
This includes careful handling and delivery directly to your door at a time that suits you.

RETURNS:

We hope you love your purchase from Hjem, but if you’re not completely satisfied, we’re happy to help.

You may return your items within 30 days of receipt for a full refund. Simply send your return to the address below or bring it back to our store at Stansted.

IN STORE PURCHASES – RETURN POLICY

Please retain your receipt for your records.  Without a receipt we are unable to offer a refund, return or a credit note.

We are happy to refund or exchange items purchased in store and returned within 30 days of purchase when a receipt is presented.

Please be aware that you are responsible for returning purchases at your own cost.  

It is your responsibility to check items purchased before leaving the store.

How to Return

  • Returns are made at the customer’s own cost, unless the item is faulty or damaged.

  • For larger items, please contact us — we’re happy to assist with arranging a courier collection.

  • For smaller parcels, we recommend Evri (formerly Hermes) as a reliable and affordable courier option.

Please make sure all returns are securely packaged and protected for transit. We cannot accept responsibility for goods that are lost or damaged in return shipment.

Refunds and Exchanges

  • Refunds will be processed using the same payment method you used at checkout.

  • Please allow up to 5–10 working days for your refund to appear once your return has been received and inspected.

  • We’re unable to exchange unwanted items, but you’re welcome to place a new order online for your preferred product.

Condition of Returned Items

All items must be:

  • In their original condition and unused.

  • Returned with all packaging, labels, and tags intact.

Please inspect your items carefully before disposing of packaging. If packaging has been discarded, we may be unable to accept the return or issue a refund.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault, please contact us as soon as possible so we can put things right quickly.

Return postage is at the customer’s own cost and risk unless the item is faulty.

We strongly recommend using a tracked delivery service and keeping your proof of postage until your refund has been confirmed.

We reserve the right to refuse refunds on items that are not returned in a resaleable condition.
