Rustic Elm Coffee Table

The Rustic Elm Coffee Table is a one-of-one antique and reclaimed table from HJEM. Made from solid reclaimed elm, this beautifully timeworn low table is rich with character and history. Its surface carries the marks of a well-lived past, with deep scratches, softened edges, natural cracks and variations in tone creating an exceptional, one-of-a-kind patina. The chunky top, simple legs and traditional exposed joinery give it a wonderfully rustic presence. Perfect as a characterful coffee table or low centrepiece, this is a piece to be appreciated precisely for its imperfections—no two will ever be the same.

How should I care for it?

Wipe with a dry or barely-damp cloth, and re-wax once or twice a year to feed the timber. Elm loves being lived with; rings and marks become part of its story.
