The Elm Cabinet is a one-of-one antique storage piece from HJEM. Handmade from reclaimed elm, this beautifully understated cabinet celebrates the natural grain, texture and character of aged timber. Its softly weathered finish gives the piece a light, timeless feel, while simple aged metal ring handles add a subtle traditional detail. Four doors provide generous concealed storage, making it a practical piece for a living room, hallway, bedroom or dining space. The clean proportions and pared-back design allow the richly grained elm to take centre stage. As each cabinet is handcrafted using reclaimed wood, variations in grain, tone, knots and markings are to be expected and form part of its unique character.

How is delivery and returns handled?

UK-wide delivery, arranged per piece. You pay for the piece at checkout and we quote delivery afterwards, so nothing is booked until you have agreed the cost. Everything travels wrapped and insured. You can cancel within 14 days of it arriving, no reason needed; sending it back is at your cost, capped at what you paid us to deliver it.

How should I care for it?

Wipe with a dry or barely-damp cloth, and re-wax once or twice a year to feed the timber. Elm loves being lived with; rings and marks become part of its story.
